Our Next Meeting is Wednesday, March 16 from 7:00 to 8:30 pm
Featuring speaker Bill Coleman on the subject of Marker Trees from a Texas Surveyor’s View Bill will teach us to look for clues that hint at the past history of a landscape. He will address the ways trees are used as markers, not just by American Indians but also as references to boundary corners throughout the settlement and construction of our current civil infrastructure. He’s a wealth of information on the Texas landscape, and has helped us tremendously in our work. If you are one who spends time working outdoors to preserve and protect our natural resources, you will enjoy hearing Bill speak.
